On the build-up to The Astronomy Photographer of the Year, Josh is interviewed by BBC Radio Bristol Presenter, Paris Troy about the upcoming Super (Blue) Moon, alongside his shortlisted entry for Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
Josh is invited to speak for the first time in front of the mic at BBC Broadcasting House to meet and present with Radio Presenter, Claire Carter. This interview purely focuses on Josh's achievement being shortlisted for The Astronomy Photographer of the Year Competition and what it means to him.
Through Josh's conservation efforts through Photography, he was able to connect with other conservationists around the world; including Vicky Derksen based in the United States. He was later interviewed for the podcast, Night Sky Tourist - focusing on his conservation efforts to light pollution in the South-West of England.
Josh has previously been invited to speak with international broadcasters, including the BBC World Service. Here he discussed the upcoming Total Eclipse in 2020 discussing the logistics of the eclipse as well as his intentions to host virtual events at this time.
Josh is a regular face on his local radio channel BBC Radio Somerset; being interviewed over the years by Claire Carter and Charlie Taylor amongst others. He loves to support and engage with his local community with upcoming astronomical news and events in relation to his photography.
This is Josh's first Radio Interview when he joins Steve Yabsley on BBC Radio Bristol in 2020.
